First the typhoon slowed us down, now it’s the political rallies driving up and down the streets of Phnom Penh. What would usually take us 30 minutes to drive to Svay Pak took us 2 hours this morning. Each party was headed toward the other and we were in the middle of it. Remember, there are no traffic rules! It was like a game of Chicken. Locals are paid $15/day to drive tuk tuks and trucks packed with supporters of each party. As the election nears, the streets are getting more and more chaotic (the election takes place the day after we leave). Even getting here late, our day continued as usual. Angelica and Amanda had a line of patients waiting for them, Kids Club was in full swing because of the awesome disciples and the computer lab was full of young kids eager to learn.

Brick Factory Update-
We ventured to a local brick factory and distributed bags of rice to each of the families. Everyone was so sincere and gracious as they spoke in Khmer and thanked us.
