After little sleep on our flight to Taipei and on to Phnom Penh our trip was remarkably uneventful. Customs went quickly and easily with no hassles and all of our bags came through unscathed.
We arrived mid-morning on Tuesday and after a quick trip to the hotel and lunch in Svay Pak we hit the ground running. Amanda and Angelica led a medical clinic with a steady flow of people for over 2 hours.
Most of the team pulled off a quick Kids Club lesson and scrambled through some new songs they learned. Even with the technology issues and blurry-eyed conditions they stumbled through the parable of the Lost Sheep, as well as some songs they were struggling to learn from one of the disciples.
LD ,JB and Kyle checked out the Lord’s Gym and watched some incredible kick boxers in training.
Jennifer worked in the computer lab teaching two classes of students learning keyboarding.
We were already impressed with the group of 15+ teenage volunteers who assisted with the 100+ children singing songs, playing games and keeping order. And, to think they do this everyday…they are truly amazing “disciples”!
Sending lots of love and prayers to my sister’s in Christ, Angelics and Tracy. Praise His holy name in everything you do! You are his hands and feet.
Congrats on a safe trip. You in our prayers every night.
Carpe Diem Does.
